• Don’t just copy any YouTube idea. Here’s what you need to know. One way to choose your next video idea is to look for “outliers.” An outlier is a video that significantly outperforms a creator’s average view count. For example, if a creator usually gets 200K views per video but one video suddenly gets 1M views, that video is considered an outlier. • Some advice is difficult to accept but essential to share, especially for those who want to take YouTube content creation seriously. I’ve compiled a small list of 16 pieces of advice I’ve given over the past few years to both small and large creators. These tips are not meant to be practical but will emphasize the importance of having the right mindset if you’re trying to create content that has the potential to score millions of views (check it out here).

• How to Make Your Audience Care About Someone in Your Video. When your audience cares about a person in your YouTube videos, they're more likely to continue watching as they become emotionally invested in the outcome for that person.
